Puerto Vallarta will receive 22 cruises this month

For this month of April, 22 cruise ship arrivals are scheduled, according to the calendar of the Puerto Vallarta National Port System Administration; among them is the maiden voyage of the Vidanta Elegant.

Puerto Vallarta continues to receive cruise ships. This week the already traditional Carnival Panorama will be arriving; on Wednesday there will be a double arrival with Norwegian Bliss and the Majestic Princess; On Thursday the 7th, the Norwegian Jewel ship will be docking at Pier 1 and on April 9, the Zuiderman, and will even spend the night until Sunday the 10th.

On the 11th, 12th and 13th of this month, the Vidanta Elegant will be anchored and it will be until Thursday the 14th when its trip will be inaugurated. even that day a triple arrival would be registered since the Norwegian Bliss and the Discovery Princess will also be there; although according to their schedule, these could sail before the Vidanta’s maiden voyage.

For the 19th, 20th and 21st, double and triple arrivals will be registered, which represents a great economic benefit to this city. Almost the entire month there will be at least one cruise ship in the port, with all the health protocols in place. Even the Eighth Sanitary Region has reported that there have been no more outbreaks of COVID-19 on cruise ships arriving in Puerto Vallarta.

Now, until February, the port registers 56 thousand cruise passengers and for this month more than 40 thousand tourists are expected and by the end of the year, almost 379 thousand.
