The Vallarta Race competition begins

On March 10, the Vallarta Race event began, where the competing sailboats are about to arrive at this tourist destination, for which 280 crew members are expected aboard 32 yachts, reported the tourism department of this city, who will be supporting the awards of these regattas in the coming days.

According to the official Vallarta Race website, it is organized by the San Diego Yacht Club. The teams come mainly from the west coast of the United States but also from Australia, so they continue their journey until they reach this city either this Monday or the rest of this week, since, this end, all the boats were already ongoing, the last ones came out this Saturday.

Tourism authorities have reported that this event leaves a good economic impact, it had to be suspended for two years due to the pandemic but now it has returned and it is from March 10 to 18, so large sailboats will be seen in the bay.
