New air terminal in Puerto Vallarta is 30% complete

The construction of the New Terminal Building of the Puerto Vallarta International Airport, which will comply with NET Zero standards to reduce carbon emissions to zero, began on August 29, 2022. Mexico City-based firm LBR&A Arquitectos is in charge of the project, which has an estimated investment of more than three billion pesos. It is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024 and will feature iconic elements such as the ratchet, geothermal batteries and solar panels to save water and energy. This will position Puerto Vallarta as a leading destination in sustainability.
